GOOD QUESTIONS
Everything you want to know.
What is the Woojer MAT and what does it actually do?
The Woojer MAT is a foldable, full-body vibroacoustic wellness mat. You lie on it, press play, and the low frequencies in music, meditations or soundscapes become precise physical sensation moving through your whole body.
It is the physical side of a concert or a cinema, delivered directly through the body instead of the room. Ten to thirty minutes to switch off, wind down before sleep, meditate, breathe or recover after training.
Why does the Woojer MAT cost what it does?
Because it is an instrument, not an accessory.
Vibroacoustic wellness is not new. For decades it has lived in room-sized beds inside luxury spas and specialist clinics, and the reason is physics. The transducers at the heart of those systems are large and heavy, so everything built around them has to be large and heavy too. Thick, fixed, cumbersome, and priced like the room they occupy.
Woojer began one level deeper, at the actuator itself. Osci is a patented oscillating frame that carries magnets in frictionless motion. It reproduces 1 to 250 Hz with the dynamics, rhythm and harmonics intact, the way an instrument holds a note rather than a motor holding a buzz, and it does all of that at four centimetres thick. Six of them in the MAT and MAT Plus, twelve in the MAT Pro, each placed for the body lying on it.
Making the engine small is what changes everything after it. The MAT folds into a bag, works on your own bed, and brings the entire experience within reach of a home instead of a clinic.
So the MAT is not an expensive wellness mat. It is the most advanced vibroacoustic technology Woojer has ever built, in the first form a person can own.
Is the Woojer MAT real vibroacoustic technology?
Yes, and it is the most advanced form of it. Osci is Woojer's patented Oscillating Frame Actuator: a closed-loop metal frame carrying oscillating magnets in frictionless motion, tuned so the body itself becomes the resonator. It follows the dynamics, rhythm and harmonics of the sound across 1 to 250 Hz, including the subsonic range below hearing.
Woojer has built this technology since 2010, and more than 1,000 professionals, spas and clinics work with it today. Some of our advertising is made with AI tools. The engineering is not.
Does the Woojer MAT help with stress, sleep and recovery?
The MAT is a wellness device, grounded in decades of low-frequency sensory research, and we do not make medical claims for it. People use it daily to relieve stress, wind down before sleep, ease everyday tension, deepen meditation and recover after training. Most feel a real shift within ten to twenty minutes.
The Woojer Wellness app comes with sessions composed for each of those moments, and the 30-day guarantee exists so you can find out on your own body.
Which should I choose: Woojer MAT, MAT Plus or MAT Pro?
MAT is the original: six haptic zones, the full-body experience, foldable, works with any audio source.
MAT Plus is the ritual elevated: six zones you can control one by one with Woojer Deep™, a softer comfort build, and a premium removable, washable cover. Wired earbuds come in the box.
MAT Pro is nothing held back: twelve zones you can control one by one with Woojer Deep™, for our most precise, spatially detailed experience, a three-layer comfort architecture, and integrated personal audio positioned around you so sound and sensation arrive as one.
Every MAT includes a carry bag, an eye mask, the free Woojer Wellness app, a 30-day money-back guarantee and a 12-month warranty.
Can I try the Woojer MAT before I buy it?
Yes, two ways. At home: every order on woojer.com has a 30-day money-back guarantee, so you try it in your own bed and your own routine. If it is not for you, return it.
Near you: practitioners in the Woojer Network offer MAT sessions you can book. Find one close to you and feel it before you decide.
Does the Woojer MAT actually work? What do people say after buying it?
The MAT is rated 4.8 out of 5 by verified buyers, and the pattern in their words is the same: the first session is a wow, and within a week it is part of the day. Practitioners who own full-size vibroacoustic beds bought it as the at-home option for their clients.
The strongest proof is not us talking. More than 1,000 professionals use Woojer technology in their practice, and you can see who they are.
Is the Woojer MAT a massage mat?
No. A massage mat moves motors against you. The MAT plays sound through you. Low frequencies you cannot hear travel through the body as detailed physical sensation, following the music rather than buzzing at one level. Nothing presses, nothing kneads, and there is nothing to get used to.
Is the Woojer MAT safe? Who should not use it?
The MAT is designed to meet UL, CE and FCC standards and is safe for general use. It contains powerful magnets, so do not use it if you have a pacemaker or any other electronic or mechanical device implanted or attached to support your body, or if you use a defibrillator. Consult your physician before using it if you have chest pain or pain in your neck or arm, shortness of breath or a heart condition, if you are pregnant, if you take medication (especially for your heart or blood pressure), or if you have any other health concern, such as back pain. If you feel pain, dizziness or anything unusual, stop and ask your doctor. Setting it up for a child? Check with a physician first and start at a low intensity.
What comes in the box with the Woojer MAT?
The MAT, a 100 W power adapter, a 3.5 mm audio cable, a carry bag, an eye mask and the quick-start guide. MAT Plus and MAT Pro add a pair of Woojer wired earbuds. The Woojer pillow and the power bank are available separately.
When am I charged for a pre-order?
At checkout, like any order. MAT Plus and MAT Pro ship from 1 December 2026.
Can I cancel a pre-order?
Yes. Contact support any time before your order ships for a full refund.
What is Osci technology?
Osci is Woojer's patented Oscillating Frame Actuator. A closed-loop metal frame carries oscillating permanent magnets in frictionless motion, so it follows changing dynamics and layered low-frequency detail with the control of a musical instrument. It reproduces 1 to 250 Hz, including the subsonic range below hearing, and uses the body itself as the resonator. That is why it fits in a mat instead of a bed.
How many haptic zones does each MAT have?
Woojer MAT: six Osci zones, two under the shoulders, two under the back, two under the legs. MAT Plus: six zones. MAT Pro: twelve zones for the most precise, spatially detailed full-body experience Woojer has ever built. Controlling each zone on its own comes with Woojer Deep™ (optional; free months are included with MAT Plus and MAT Pro).
What are the Woojer MAT's dimensions?
All three mats are 190 cm long and 78 cm wide, full body from shoulders to legs. The MAT and MAT Plus are 4 cm thick; the MAT Pro is 7.5 cm with its three-layer comfort build. One size, and height is never a limit.
Does the Woojer MAT fold?
Yes. Every MAT folds and ships with a carry bag, so it lives on a bed, in a cupboard or in a suitcase. Unfold it, plug it in, and it is ready the moment you are.
How does the Woojer MAT connect to my phone, laptop or TV?
Three ways: Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C digital audio, or the included 3.5 mm cable. It works with every phone, tablet, computer and any TV with Bluetooth or an analogue output, and needs no drivers or software.
Can I use headphones with the Woojer MAT?
Yes, any pair. Bluetooth headphones pair directly to the MAT, and wired headphones plug into its 3.5 mm output, powered by a built-in headphone amplifier. Headphones are optional: the MAT is also complete on its own, felt in near silence.
Does the Woojer MAT have a battery?
The MAT runs from the included 100 W USB-C power adapter, which is what lets it deliver full-body low frequencies for a whole session. For travel or the garden, the Woojer MAT Power Bank, sold separately, gives up to eight hours from a single charge.
Is the Woojer MAT silent?
To everyone else, yes. The sensation travels through your body, not the room, so you can run a full session next to someone sleeping. With headphones off you hear a soft low hum of the frequencies themselves, which most people find part of the calm.
Which Woojer apps do I need?
Two, both free. The Woojer Wellness app holds the sessions and programs: sleep, calm, recovery, body comfort, dozens of them, free forever. The Woojer Device Manager handles setup, connections and firmware updates. Keep the MAT on the latest firmware and it always performs at its best.
Does the Woojer MAT get warm?
It may feel slightly warm after a long session, which is normal for a device delivering this much low-frequency energy, and it powers itself down after about an hour of inactivity. Keep it on the latest firmware through the Woojer Device Manager app for the best performance.
Can I use Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube or my own music with the Woojer MAT?
Yes. Any audio in, physical sound out. Play a Woojer session, a meditation app, a soundscape, a film or your own playlist. If it makes sound, the MAT makes you feel it.
How long is a Woojer MAT session, and how often can I use it?
Sessions in the app run from five to thirty minutes, and most people feel a real shift within ten to twenty. Use it daily if you like: before sleep, after training, between meetings. You can fall asleep on it and stay all night: it switches itself off, MAT and MAT Plus after 60 minutes, MAT Pro after 8 hours.
Where do I place the Woojer MAT: bed, sofa or floor?
The MAT and MAT Plus belong on a soft surface: your bed, a sofa, a massage table, a rug or any yielding surface, which is what couples the sensation into your body. Not directly on a bare hard floor; put a rug or mat underneath. The thicker MAT Pro can be used on any surface, including a bare floor.
Can I put a sheet or blanket over the Woojer MAT?
Yes. A fitted sheet or a thin blanket does not weaken the experience, and it keeps the MAT fresh. MAT Plus also has a removable, washable cover.
Do I have to lie on my back?
Lying on your back gives the full head-to-toe experience, but side and face-down positions work as well. Centre your body on the MAT, set the intensity where it feels right, and let the session take over.
Can I use the Woojer MAT with a heat pad, red light or a weighted blanket?
Yes. An infrared or heat pad on top of the MAT is a popular pairing, and a weighted blanket or eye mask over you deepens the wind-down. Keep the MAT itself on its soft surface and let everything else layer on top.
Is the Woojer app free? Do I need a subscription?
The Woojer Wellness app is free forever, and it is not a trial. It comes with dozens of sessions composed for the MAT: sleep, relaxation, stress reset, meditation, recovery and body comfort. No subscription is needed to use your MAT, ever.
You are also never limited to our library. Play Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, a podcast, a meditation app or your own tracks, and the MAT turns their low frequencies into sensation. Any audio in, physical sound out.
What is Woojer Deep™, and is it included?
Woojer Deep™ is the optional membership above the free app. It adds the full library, advanced Programs that guide a session from start to finish, Wooju personal intelligence that suggests what to do next, and connections to supported wearables. No wearable is required and nothing is missing without one.
Deep™ is included with every MAT: three months with MAT, six with MAT Plus, twelve with MAT Pro. It launches on 1 December 2026, together with MAT Plus and MAT Pro, so a MAT bought today ships within two business days and its three months of Deep™ begin on launch day.
Until then, and after your included months end, the free Woojer Wellness app and your own music keep working exactly as they do now. Deep™ is something you add because you want more, never something you need.
How do I clean the Woojer MAT?
Wipe the surface with a slightly damp cloth and let it dry. The MAT is not water resistant and is not machine washable. MAT Plus has a removable, washable cover, and MAT Plus and MAT Pro take the optional Professional PU Cover for wipe-clean use between clients.
Can I use the Woojer MAT in my practice, spa or clinic?
Yes. More than 1,000 practitioners, spas, hotels and clinics run Woojer sessions, before, during, after or instead of hands-on work. The MAT lies on any treatment table, needs nothing reset between clients, and MAT Plus and MAT Pro take a wipe-clean Professional PU Cover. For bundles and multi-room plans, talk to Woojer.
How long does Woojer MAT delivery take?
Orders are processed and shipped within two business days and typically arrive three to five business days later. The exact estimate for your address is shown at checkout, and you receive a tracking link the moment it leaves the warehouse.
Where does Woojer ship from?
From the warehouse closest to you: United States, United Kingdom (London), European Union (Netherlands) or Hong Kong. Local stock means local delivery times.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
In the UK and the EU, no: VAT is included in the price you see, so nothing is charged at the door. In the US, state sales tax is added at checkout. Orders to Canada, Norway, Hong Kong, Taiwan and other regions outside the US and EU may be charged local import taxes on delivery; checkout tells you before you pay.
Which countries does Woojer ship to?
More than fifty countries across North America, Europe, Asia and beyond, in local currency. Enter your address at checkout and every available destination is listed.
The Woojer MAT shows as sold out. When is it back?
Stock is held per region, so sold out in one store rarely means sold out everywhere. Contact us with your country and we will point you to the warehouse that has it, or notify you the moment yours restocks.
What is the Woojer return policy?
You have 30 days from delivery. If the MAT is not for you, request a return authorization through support and send it back in its original box with all accessories for a refund.
Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Try it at home for 30 days, in your own bed and your own routine. If it is not for you, send it back for a refund.
Not sure yet? Some Woojer professionals offer sessions. See if there is one near you.
Who pays for return shipping?
It depends on where you live. In the US, we send you a prepaid return label through Happy Returns, and a flat return fee comes off your refund: $15 for the Strap and accessories, $20 for the Vest, $30 for the MAT, $35 for MAT Plus and $40 for MAT Pro. In the EU, you book and pay the return shipping in our Returnless portal. In the UK and everywhere else, you send it back yourself with a tracked service. Request your return authorization first and send everything back in its original box, and nothing else is deducted. A 15% restocking fee applies only to a return sent without an authorization or with parts missing.
What warranty comes with the Woojer MAT?
A 12-month limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the day it is delivered. If anything is wrong, we repair it, replace it or refund it. Your woojer.com order number is your proof of purchase.
Can I change my address or cancel after ordering?
Yes, as long as the order has not shipped. Open a ticket with your order number as soon as possible and choose the cancel or address-change option. Once a parcel is on its way we can no longer redirect it.
When do MAT Plus and MAT Pro ship?
MAT Plus and MAT Pro are on pre-order and start shipping on 1 December 2026, first come, first served, so the earlier you reserve, the earlier yours leaves the warehouse.
The original MAT ships now, within two business days. Woojer Deep™ launches on the same 1 December date, and a MAT bought today begins its included months then.
When am I charged for a pre-order?
At checkout, like any order. MAT Plus and MAT Pro ship from 1 December 2026.
Can I cancel a pre-order?
Yes. Contact support any time before your order ships for a full refund.
Is the Woojer MAT HSA/FSA eligible?
Yes, for qualified US customers, through our partner Truemed. Select Truemed at checkout, complete a short health assessment reviewed by a licensed provider, and pay with your HSA or FSA card. Truemed is for qualified customers; HSA/FSA tax savings vary.
How does paying with HSA/FSA save me money?
HSA and FSA accounts hold pre-tax money for eligible health expenses. Paying with them means you are not paying income tax on that spend first, which for most people means saving an average of around 30 percent on the MAT. Savings vary by plan and tax bracket.
How do I check out with HSA/FSA at Woojer?
Three steps. Find the Truemed logo at checkout (close the Shop Pay pop-up if it appears). Complete the private health survey; a licensed provider reviews it to confirm eligibility. Pay with your HSA/FSA card, or with a regular card and submit the receipt to your administrator for reimbursement.
What if I do not have enough in my HSA/FSA?
Split the payment. Use what is in your HSA/FSA account and pay the balance with a regular credit card, all in the same Truemed checkout.
Can I pay with a regular credit card and get reimbursed later?
Yes. Choose a regular card in the Truemed checkout and Truemed emails you a Letter of Medical Necessity plus instructions for submitting the receipt to your HSA/FSA administrator.
What is a Letter of Medical Necessity?
A document from a licensed provider stating that the MAT is a qualified medical expense for you, in the same way a doctor's visit is. It satisfies IRS requirements so your purchase can be paid from pre-tax funds. Truemed issues it, usually within a few hours of your assessment.
Does Truemed cost anything?
No. There is no cost to you when shopping with a Truemed partner such as Woojer.
I do not live in the US. Can I use HSA/FSA?
HSA and FSA are US programmes and Truemed is currently available only in the United States.
When should I use my FSA funds?
Any time during the year, but most FSA balances expire on 31 December and do not roll over. If you have funds left, the MAT is one of the few things you can feel every day.
Are the Woojer Vest and Strap HSA/FSA eligible?
HSA/FSA checkout is currently available for the Woojer MAT. We will announce it for the Vest 4 and Strap 4 as soon as they are approved.
